The focus of El Bagazo is clear: Craft a tequila that reduce its environmental impact by redefining the way the spirit is produced, transforming agave waste into a new source of energy and raw materials. The residual agave fiber, known as bagazo, becomes biomass briquettes used as fuel, craft paper for its labels, and in-house stoppers made from agave fiber and FDA-approved plastic. A project that brings together traditional techniques, modern technology, and good practices, advancing a circular production model and honoring the terrior that makes it possible.
