.75oz La Higuera Leiophyllum Sotol

.5oz  Bonal Gentiane-Quina Aperitif

.25oz Contratto Fernet

.5oz  Giffard Orgeat Syrup

1oz   Grapefruit Juice

.25oz Lime Juice

1.5oz Dry Sparkling Lambrusco

Star Anise for garnish

Combine the spirits, syrup, and juices in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously to chill. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with sparkling Lambrusco and garnish with a star anise pod.

This expression means so much to us. It is shared by those who have a deep level of gratitude for what they do and where they come from. Their energy is contagious and truly beautiful, and it becomes apparent when enjoying their mezcal that this is something special.

La Higuera Cedrosanum

With ripe mango.

Immediately, the soft, juicy mango combines with the oiliness from the sotol to coat the entirety of the mouth with a tropical burst of balanced complexity. The mango seems to calm the sotol, harmonizing with the chiles, fresh rain, and charred herbs found in this expression from La Higuera. Savory and warm blends with sweet and cool to create a beautiful pairing best enjoyed with sunshine.
